Rev. Jesse Letourneau – Minister
Pastor Jesse Letourneau is a California native having spent time in Illinois, Texas, and Florida as well. Pastor Jesse moved to Indiana in 2020, and despite being born in California now considers himself a Hooiser.
He graduated from North Park Theological Seminary in 2015 with an MDiv. Jesse’s passion for the story of the Scriptures comes through in his sermons. It is not uncommon to hear him remind the congregation that “There is nothing you can do, to make God stop loving you.”
Pastor Jesse finds comfort in the world of the Muppets. Each Muppet is unique and yet all are accepted. Seldom do things go according to plan for them and yet they never lose hope and continue on in their pursuits. His favorite Muppet is Gonzo who best typifies this ability to never surrender even in the face of failure. The ability to always get back up reminds Jesse that God’s grace is ever present as well.
Pastor Jesse is grateful for the love of his life Rev. Kyrmen Rea who is the Senior Minister at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Bloomington, IN. Kyrmen is the mother of four adult children who are possibly the best people Pastor Jesse has ever met (aside from his Beloved, Kyrmen).

I am a native Hoosier who lived and worked in Columbus previously. I consider Columbus home. I have recently returned to the area after working several years on the East coast. I am a semi-retired professional who worked mostly with data and information gathering in both the public and private sectors. I have degrees from both Purdue and Indiana University.
I am a mother of four adult children and have lots of younger children in my life who call me ‘Gammy.’ I enjoy watching them in their sports and musical activities. My hobbies include needle craft, especially crocheting, bowling, and reading. Gifts from me are often handmade. My children tease me that I’ll never run out of yarn. I’m looking forward to getting to know the congregation of Memorial and excited to begin working with them. My goal is to use my prior experiences and knowledge to assist them with their endeavors.
